Beauty Review: Spa Fabulous with Neena Trehan

In the middle of a biterly cold winter, my skin was really suffering from the cold wind, winter flu and harsh central heating.

When I was invited to try the Spa Fabulous Organic Facial, I jumped at the chance.

I met Neena at her treatment rooms. She explained that the Spa Fabulous facial was developed after working over many years with many top salon beauty brands. Her facials have the effect of oxygenating your skin which increases blood flow and helps with skin rejuvenation. Loved the sound of that.

She cast her expert eye over my skin and declared it slightly sensitive and chose the products to use for the facial. From when the first product touched my face, I could feel the emolient effect of the shea butter and was enveloped in the scents of the essential oils.

The facial followed the regular process of cleansing with a scented balm followed by an exfoliating massage. Unusually, there was no mask and steam in this facial as Neena explained that there was no need with combination and the products she used.

Then she used her new Complexion Perfection Vacuum Machine in conjunction with the facial balm and this had the effect of massaging as well as drawing the blood to the surface of your skin.

Immediately after the facial, I could see that the blotchy patches on my forehead had gone, I looked a lot more “rested” but my skin was quite red from the surge of blood. After about 15 mins, that redness subsided which left a healthy glow. This glow lasted for a few days.

My skin felt softer, hydrated and glowing. I went home happily clutching a jar of Neena’s Organic Heavenly Glow exfoliator which I will use to keep that healthy glow.
