The Langham Hotel has been serving Afternoon Tea since the 19th century and they have won the award for the best afternoon tea in London.
After sampling some of the new cakes and savouries at the preview last week, I can say that they definitely rank up there with the best in London.
We had a selection of cakes created by Head Pastry Chef Cherish Finden. She is a genius in putting together flavours like rose and lychee and elderflower jelly in the selection. Also loved the striking beetroot bread and salmon sandwiches.
The Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood will be served from 10 November at the Palm Court at the Langham.
